About the Event

The research is being conducted as part of a doctoral PhD study to examine the health and wellness effects of spending time walking in nature for volunteers with mild to moderate depression lasting two weeks or longer.

Spending time in nature has been shown to promote a greater sense of wellbeing and happiness, reduce blood pressure, and promote stewardship for the environment.

The research study will be evaluating if person's with minor to moderate depression have a greater sense of happiness while walking in nature.
